So this little trick or treater was so excited for halloween. At first he wanted to be a pirate then about a week before he changed his mind and wanted to be spiderman, well lucky for me my neighbor had a spiderman costume they let me borrow because that close to halloween there was nothing left. He had so much fun spinning pretend webs at people and the candy the kid thought he was in heaven. And for him I'm sure it was pretty close unlimited amounts of candy dressing up who could ask for more.
This other guy I like to call him DAH WAYNE well I think he had more fun at the halloween party than most of the kids. If you can't tell he has an amazing resemblance to James crazy huh? His redneck accent was so funny he had most the adults in the neighborhood rolling as well as those of us in the house as for the little kids he was talking to half of them went running for cover and the other half was crying. I mean all he did was talk to them in a redneck accent ask them if he could eat their candy or do some kind of trick for him or ask them why they would go around knocking from door to door asking for candy from strangers like him. I mean what's wrong with that although I have to admit that I to was a little frightened to go home with him.
Weston he dressed up as a werewolf. And for most of the night I didn't see hide nor hair of him. These other two chicks I don't even know what they were. But they were cute or punky that's for sure. I was Aunt Jemima which none of the kids even knew who it was I had to explain like the lady on the syrup bottles and finally they said of like Mrs. Buttersworth. Well needless to say there aren't pictures of me. Because that night right after we got started we were hit with a crazy rain storm and I went in for the night and the picture taking time ended.
Well Easton continues to do so well. He is continuing to make gains all the time and is pretty stable. His speech gets better everyday, as does his independence. I have had to learn to let him try things like getting his own drink, his own food, making microwave popcorn. I am so used to just doing it's hard to not just do it. He is dressing himself and matched the clothes pretty well he does zippers and snaps and can do a few buttons but they are never lined up right but who cares as longs as he's able to do them. He even puts on his own socks and shoes and for the most part gets them on the right feet. He hates to do this but I know he can so we make him at least try but he usually gets it done. The reason he doesn't like to do it himself is it makes him stretch and his hips and arms are a little stiff so its hard for him but not hard enough that if he is going somewhere he doesn't get it done himself so he doesn't get left out. He is also able to brush his own teeth and does a really good job. One of his recent favorite past times is playing wii sports with his grandpa Fullmer. So all and all he is doing awesome. And next week we are off again for infusion 10 and hopefully by feb. we will be getting them in Utah.
